GM To Launch Peer Cars

GM To Launch Peer Cars

General Motors is launching a new service in three nearby markets. Those markets are Chicago, Detroit and Ann Arbor, Michigan. The core service, which is called Maven, will let owners rent out their personal GM vehicles through the new car sharing platform. Similar to Turo and Getaround, the peer-to-peer rental service isn’t a new model, but it is quite a departure for GM. Maven first launched in January of 2016, but has since experienced some hiccups along the way. This…

Monday Punday: Carpool

Monday Punday: Carpool

If you live in a busy city, you probably get just as excited as I do when I can merge onto the HOV lane and bypass rush hour traffic. As helpful as the carpool lane is, it’s equally as frustrating to see the many drivers that break the rules using it as well. My hope is that this visualization isn’t just a humorous play on words, but a representation as to what the carpool lane should actually be for those…

Monday Punday: Escalade

Monday Punday: Escalade

It’s hard enough to find a parking spot in a busy city. The fact that your car could end up being towed in uncertain parking circumstances is simply stressful. To make matters worse, tow companies don’t treat our nice vehicles with the respect they deserve. BMW’s ReachNow Updates

BMW’s ReachNow Updates

This move makes ReachNow a direct competitor to Uber and Lyft – at least in Seattle – for now. The goal is to expand ride hailing across many more cities throughout the remainder of the year. This will…
